Each product is produced in Texas by independent seamstresses and craftsman. We use only the highest quality materials available in the market. Once a product is developed we take it through testing in the field to ensure its performance. It is important for our products to be made in the United States of America encouraging quality control and economy in this country. our purpose is to provide a line of apperal that is made for the hunter and outdoorsman. One that will pass the test of time.
Why Oilcloth?
Oilcloth was developed at the turn of the century by sailors who found by coating ship sails with linseed oil and whale oil made an incredibly protective wet weather fabric. When developing HUNTSMITH COLLECTION we saw how this fabric was used by our families throughout generations. Why change something that isnt broken? The 8oz 100% cotton Oilcloth has been tested for wear and water resistance, obtaining the highest quality grading in the industry.
Wax cloth is not the same as Oilcloth.
Wax cloth is impermeated with wax which will freeze below 32 degrees and open to the cotton, which allows the water to penatrate. Oilcloth is impermeated with lanolin and mineral oils, and won't freeze. Wax cloth has a distinctive smell and is noisy. Oilcloth is very supple and has very little smell.
Canvas is breathable and strong. Made from 100% natural cotton, never allowing moisture to be trapped inside like plastics. When canvas gets wet, set it in the sun and it will dry in minutes.

Features include: double sided bird bag, D ring and swivel snap on the side for hooking your duck line or lead rope, expandable pockets that will hold 2 boxes of 12 gauge shotgun shells, inside pocket for e-collar, keys, wallet, inside 1/2 sleeve which will keep your arms dry when reaching down in the wet grass.

The Custom Jacket features a shooting shoulder pad, your choice left shoulder or right shoulder. Further customize the jacket with your name on the upper pocket flap. The Custom Jacket is the ultimate in field equipment, giving you protection and functionality.

Made from the finest 100% oilcloth, lined with 10oz cotton canvas, using solid brass hardware accented with your choice of brown or nutmeg calf skin leather waist band and cuffs. The chaps are water and wind resistant for those days the fields are wet, while giving protection from the brush. The chaps are lightweight and comfortable for both riding and walking.
Retriever Chaps

Made from the finest 100% oilcloth, lined with 10oz cotton canvas, using solid brass hardware accented. Designed as our first chaps but the retriever chap have belt loops instead of a waist band. This allows you to wear one leg at a time. The belt loops are ajustable using Velcro. Set the length once and snap. The optional transmitter pocket is made with jersy mesh to hold various sizes and allows you to operate controls while in your pocket.

Built with quality and durability to carry all your equipment, the outside expandable pocket gives quick access for those small items you need in the field.

Boot Gator
New to the Huntsmith Collection line for 2007. Made from oilcloth these chaps keep dirt and burrs out of your boots, while keeping the bottom of your pant leg dry. A hook on the front secures under the laces of your boots, then Velcro and snap in the back. The sides are held with a strap that runs under the space in front of the boot heal. Weather often calls for shorts. You can wear these just to keep your socks dry and free of debris. Available in 2 sizes, regular and large.

The Boot Gator is 9 ½” high and the Tall Boot Gator is 18 1/2" high. Regular size fits up to 13" around and the Large will fit up to 18" around.
